General
HV Ballers Elite Basketball Programs is a select AAU basketball program based in Huntsville, Texas. We develop young athletes through structured training and competitive tournament play, focusing on leadership, discipline, teamwork, and individual skill development.
Our mission is simple: Developing Student-Athletes. Inspiring Future Leaders.
AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) Basketball provides athletes with opportunities to develop their skills, compete in tournaments, and gain exposure outside of their school basketball programs.
AAU teams are organized by age divisions, typically ranging from 8U through 17U/18U. HV Ballers Elite provides youth basketball development for boys and girls ages 8U through 17U, and may field teams in the following divisions:
Our tryouts are organized from 3rd grade through high school. Age eligibility follows AAU and tournament rules.
We are based in Huntsville, Texas. Tryouts and group training sessions are held at:
We welcome athletes from Walker County and surrounding areas, including Trinity, Madison, Brazos, Houston, Montgomery, Grimes, and San Jacinto counties.
We combine experienced coaching, structured player development, and competitive tournament play within a stable, family-oriented environment. Our program gives coaches the flexibility to build and develop their teams season to season while maintaining consistent player development — helping athletes grow together, build chemistry, and develop long-term success.
The HV Ballers Elite AAU season runs from March through July, beginning during the second week of March and concluding during the final week of July. We also provide opportunities for continued development and training during the off-season so athletes can improve year-round.

Session times and age groups are listed on our Tryouts page.
Teams are selected based on:
A Teams — Select, accomplished teams that compete at a high level in local, regional, and national tournaments while seeking top competition.
B/C Teams — Competitive and developmental teams designed to help players improve their skills while competing against teams of similar experience and ability levels.
Our B/C teams are designed to help players develop their skills, and teams are built and evaluated season to season. Placement is determined through the tryout process and by the coaching staff based on each athlete’s development and team needs. If you have questions about your athlete’s placement, please speak with the coaching staff directly.
We encourage every athlete to keep developing. Our group training sessions are a great way to continue building skills, and we welcome athletes to try out again at a future session. Please contact our staff to talk through the best next step for your player.
